My family and I are only days away from beginning our drive across the country for our summer ministry tour back in the Northeast. We are excited to reconnect with old friends and form new relationships too! We're also looking forward to sneaking in some time with family as well.

We have been so blessed to develop some dear connections along this lengthy corridor from Arizona to New Jersey and New York. We'll be taking four nights to make the trip and looking forward to fellowship with each of our generous hosts along the way - we love being in the family of God!

For those who have been keeping up with the progress of my book project - my life's story (really, God's story in my life), you'll be happy to learn that it has gone through two rounds of editing. It is in one more stage now and next week we'll be sending it out to a small group of beta-readers for their input on trimming, flow, and additional editing... it finally feels like there's a light at the end of the tunnel! :-) Thank you so much for those who have been praying for me on this project!

You may also know that we had an incredible opportunity to exhibit, offer a workshop, and present two brief videos about Love & Truth Network during general sessions at the Christian Medical And Dental Association Conference in May.

We have another wonderful opportunity to exhibit Love & Truth Network and build awareness and bridges at the AACC - the American Association of Christian Counselors conference in Nashville, Tennessee this September. We were given discounted booth space in a good location on the exhibit floor, and are excited to have four of our LTN team present at our booth - engaging with counselors, pastors, and Christian leaders throughout this conference. There will be 7,000-8,000 leaders attending.

I will immediately leave the AACC conference and head to Washington D.C. to join with other national ministry leaders and family related organizations for important meetings in our nation's capital. We will also be meeting with a number of federal legislators to share our stories and urge them to protect counseling choice and the right of self-determination for everyone to decide what kind of help and support they desire, in keeping with their goals, values, and faith.

Over the last three or four weeks, I was reminded that at this time last year, some very generous supporters of Love & Truth Network funded a "Matching Gift Challenge" just before we began our 2022 Northeast ministry trip. That was such a blessing and helped supply needed funds for a number of opportunities before us.

So during this time, it has been on my heart to seek God for clarity as to whether I should reach out to any of our supporters to ask if they might be interested in supplying the very significant seed money for such a gift challenge this summer. But I didn't sense a direction one way or the other. It just stayed with me as a prayer and consideration.

Well, a husband and wife who have been longtime personal friends and LTN supporters recently sold some property and felt joyfully led to give a very generous donation. They would love to see their gift challenge and encourage those reading this ministry update and others we'll be teaching, equipping, and fellowshipping with on our Northeast ministry tour, to give toward doubling or even tripling their gift of $15,000 toward the work of Love & Truth Network! Every gift - small or large counts toward this goal!

These "Matching Gift Challenges" have been a fun way of stirring up incredible generosity. We have never wanted these to be heavy-handed or coercive requests. As I have interacted with those who have given toward these challenges, it's always been with a joyful heart and an excitement to see how those who are able to give a little and those who can give a lot all generously offer what they sense God is telling them, and God multiplies the total amount beyond far more than we were even hoping for.

If you have never given to Love & Truth Network, would you prayerfully consider contributing toward helping to multiply this $15,000 giving challenge, or even starting a recurring monthly gift?

If you are already a supporter of LTN, would you prayerfully consider giving a special one-time gift, or increasing your giving in whatever capacity the Lord leads? Even seemingly small increases across a number of our current supporters would have great value in strengthening our budget and what we are able to plan for in the balance of 2023 and the years ahead.

God continues to open an abundance of doors for us. Our relatively new podcast has been a lot of fun - most of the time I get to interview and visit with other Christian leaders on the topics of sexual restoration, wholeness, and healthy identity. We've been told by a number of people how much they appreciate and have already been helped by the content.

So, will you pray for us? Pray for covering and open doors and open hearts for our trip. Pray that God would go before us and prepare the way - He's the author of any and every good thing.

And will you prayerfully consider giving a one-time gift or starting a monthly recurring gift toward our "Matching Gift Challenge"? We will run this challenge from now through August 15th.
